Rooted in Nature
Shuswap Kids Club has proudly provided licensed school-age childcare for families in Salmon Arm since 1994. We welcome children from Kindergarten – Grade 5 into a warm, nurturing environment where they can relax, create, explore and simply enjoy being kids.
Our thoughtfully designed indoor space is intentionally calm, cozy and inviting — a true home away from home where children feel safe, supported and valued after a busy day at school.

Nestled among the trees with breathtaking views of Shuswap Lake and the surrounding mountains, our outdoor environment inspires curiosity, creativity, confidence and a genuine love of nature. Inspired by Scandinavian Forest School philosophy, we believe children thrive when they're given the freedom to explore, imagine and learn through meaningful experiences in the natural world.

Our story
Shuswap Kids Club was created with a simple vision: to provide families with quality licensed school-age childcare in a caring environment that feels like a second home. For over 30 years, we have proudly served families in the Salmon Arm community by offering dependable care and meaningful experiences that support children both socially and emotionally.
Nature-based learning
Nature plays an important role in our program. We encourage children to connect with the outdoors, explore their surroundings, and develop curiosity through hands-on experiences — observing seasonal changes, discovering local plants and wildlife, and taking part in outdoor activities. Nature becomes an extension of the classroom.
